Morning: God's Provision Around the World
“Zoe” and her husband, “Max,” believing national friends of JERRY and TRACEY BOYD, received a computer as a belated wedding gift on the very day they gave up hope of buying one. Like many other customers, Zoe and Max were denied credit at a local store because of the global financial crisis. A devout Muslim named Guy (not his real name), who knew of their difficulties obtaining a computer, happened to be present when friends walked in with the computer they had purchased for Zoe and Max’s wedding gift. Guy doubted Zoe’s faith when she said she believed that God would allow her to have a computer so she could continue her coursework at a university. God is showing His provision around the world, and your church is part of this provision as you consistently participate in the Cooperative Program (CP). Add Jerry and Tracey to your prayer list this week.
John 8:29 The One who sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, because I always do what pleases Him.
Evening: Impacting the Kingdom of God
ANNE DECKER is a North American missionary and Director of Partnership and Mobilization for Vision San Diego. She uses her interests, gifts, and passions to impact the Kingdom of God, thanks in part to our vision for, and commitment to, Cooperative Program. Anne’s role allows her the opportunity to work alongside local churches to help them understand the importance of having partners and how to host mission teams, as well as talking with potential partners concerning how they can serve in San Diego. New churches are being started, and existing churches are being strengthened to help reach San Diego for Christ. Your prayers for Anne and the churches in the San Diego area are needed this week.
STATEMENT: In doing what pleased the Father, Jesus knew that God was with Him. When we give to please God, we will find His presence confirmed in our lives also.
