Morning: "The Well" in Bangkok
Striving to help women and men leave prostitution and start a new life in Christ, SUSAN MATTHES works with two other International Service Corps members in the red light district of Bangkok, Thailand. Susan and her coworkers accompany former bar workers who have completed a program called “The Well” back to their province to present prevention programs to at-risk teenagers. Susan hopes that these who have found Christ will share the Good News with their families and friends. The first bar girl that Susan met talked with her about leaving the bar. Pray for the girl as she undergoes this huge transition in her life. Pray she will not only leave the bar life, but also will leave Buddhism to follow Christ. Galatians 5:1

Evening: Nehemiah Church Planting Professor
As Nehemiah Church Planting professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, GUS SUAREZ leads students to learn about and engage in church planting. He trains language/cultural people to reach people from different cultures, laypeople to reach others in the marketplace, and injects a passion for church planting at every level of church leadership. Your prayers and support through the Cooperative Program assist Midwestern students in receiving the training they need to pursue God’s call on their lives. Pray for Gus and his wife, DIANA, as they train up a new generation of pastors and church planters. STATEMENT: Freedom is precious to Christians. God created us free to manage our lives and the material resources that He provided for our use. We have freedom to use a worthy portion to serve Christ, as when we give to our church. This pleases God and fills our own lives with joy.
